It is $60 to get only makeup done and $80 to get hair done.  Not sure if these prices are going up too, but this is what  is on my contract.

Does anyone know what time the bus picks the guests up at Dreams P.V.? I'm trying to make a pre-wedding brochure and need to include that info. I have an email sent into Dennise but I'm just awaiting her reply!

I think around 4:15pm.

ugh! I just got an email from Dennise about the photographer fee. I had asked her if I needed to include the photographer in our head count and she replied "Depends, if the photographer is a friend and included in your wedding it is only$ 50 but if its an outside photographer there is a $300 extra fee". I should have never asked that question. My contract right now says $50. So frustrating. I'm trying to fight it but we'll see what happens.! I booked about a year ago and that charge was NEVER mentioned.

I'm wondering if anyone who has gotten married at Las Caletas can give me some info about guests with young babies. My maid of honour is pregnant and is planning on bringing her new baby with her (the baby will be about 2 months old) as well as my FSIL (who will also have a 2 month old).....

Has anyone had guests travel to Las Caletas with babies that young? They are both aware of the boat and that we will be at the location for the entire evening. I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or if the wedding coordinators are able to set up a playpen/crib etc.

Thanks!

I don't know of anyone that brought a baby that young but i imagine they'd be able to set up somewhere for baby to sleep (i imagine they'd just keep her in the carseat?)  i would suggest buying some netting to fit over the baby's sleeping place just to make sure bugs don't get to her.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
