We're searching for a videographer and was wondering if anyone would share their videos on here.  We want someone with experience filming Las Caletas.  I've emailed Blanca for some samples of Vallarta Adventure videography, but haven't heard back yet.  Also, wondering if you thought it was worth the extra time/money to have the videographer there while you get ready.  Really appreciate any feedback and info...Thanks in advance!

Hi LaLa1116,

I LOVED our videographer!!  Here are a few of the clips or what I like to call music videos:

Makes me wonder if the groom should just come over with the guests and we will take all of our pictures after the ceremony, which I really don't want to do!

Thanks for any info!

bleissoo,

i just had my wedding at las calestas this past Monday and I too did not want to wait and do pictures after the ceremony. While by fiance did not come over early, he came with the rest of the guests, we did change the order of events to allow for the pictures to be taken upon arrival. So basically instead of having the cocktail hour after the ceremony, we did the cocktail hour when everyone arrived and while that was going on, we did pictures. Just an idea and it worked out perfectly for us. Good luck!

hi poorplaces. i just had my wedding last monday at las caletas. we actually did tip a couple of people outside of the $10/pp tip that is already added. We tipped our wedding coorinator, DJ, photographer, and our cruise director. They all did such an amazing job we just wanted to show how much we appreciated it. :)

Have you thought about Martoca :) In case you cannot get a hold of Caletas perhaps you would take a look at our venue for your wedding day :) If you have any questions please email james@martoca.com for any information or questions about Vallarta if you like. Gracias Vallarta Adventures owns Caletas so if you go to their site I am sure it will lead you to Caletas tours. It is a tour actually :)

Girls I did it! Got married on the 21st of April and it was AMAZING!!!!  I will post a review soon but for now all I can say is that you have absolutely noting to worry about.  Loved every minute of it!!!  Blanca went well beyond my expectations. Just gonna post a pic of my makeup because I know that's one thing I was worried about after reading some reviews. I had two hair and makeup guys come and they were very prompt and we had lots of time for them to do my three bridesmaids hair and my hair and makeup.  I rarely wear makeup so I was hesitant on getting the airbrushing and fake eyelashes.  But I think it turned out great.  Also since I don't wear makeup I asked for something romantic and not dramatic.  At first I thought it was too much but my bridesmaids assured me it looked great and once hair was done and dress was on it would look complete.  And it did!  Here are some pics so you can see for yourself.  Oh and for my hair it turned out nothing like how I wanted but everyone else seemed to like it.  I liked the front which was the most important for me so I was fine with it lol.  All three of my bridesmaids hair looked amazing.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
