Las Caletas Couples ~ POST HERE!!! (**All LC Brides...PLEASE READ 1st post, red text)

Yes the candles and sand are included, the starfish centerpiece for the guestbook table was set up for me, but I did pay for it... like 35$ I think, but I didn't have to bring anything with me. Lianne they don't actually let the parrot fly the real rings... just incase, you never know, but the guests don't know that ;) And yes I wasn't aware that there were going to be new chairs and was super surprised and pleased with them.

Another thing I was thinking about after that I forgot to put in my review was that I thought we just got to keep the sand from the ceremony and they would put it with our stuff (as they have done that for past brides) But they didn't so we didn't end up getting to keep it. Just a thought if you want to keep it, maybe talk to Annie or Dennise, whicher ever your planner is about keeping it or what not. I'm not too upset about it as we are heading to Jamaica in 8 days for our honeymoon and we're gonna "steal" some sand from down there and put it in our sand unity frame that wasn't here in time to take it LC.

Anything else while I still have it fresh in my mind??? :) lol

I didn't bring anything but our programs, favors, champagne glasses, cake topper and cake cutting set. All I did was send inspiration pictures for all my flowers, centerpieces, everything. We had 3 bags of pedals for 25$/bag. The conch shell centerpiece was the one we used for the included one for ceremony table and head table. I have all my inspiration pics still if anyone is interested in them. I just emailed the pics and wrote any color or flower changes I wanted.

For the recent brides...is it still true that if you opt out of the site visit you're able to use those boat passes towards the day of the wedding for any extra people to go over with you and the bridesmaids? I had heard that but I just wanted to make sure. I think its kind of silly they make us pay $76 for more than 4 bridesmaids.

P.S. Both of your weddings looked beautiful. It got me more excited for mine!

Sorry I was just thinking about the future brides that may not have a photographer yet. If you are looking for a GREAT photographer at an extremely reasonable price, you should look up Pierre and Eva at PhootShoot Vallarta. They are based right out of Puerto Vallarta and do amazing work. We hired them and cannot say a bad thing about them. They were both sooo friendly and did an amazing job capturing every moment of our special day and even some that made it even more special. I already have my photos too!!! Less than a week. LOVE them they are amazing and if you don't have a photog yet you should look into them ;)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
