We only had 4 girls with us and we were able to take showers 1 at a time and we didn't share shower time.

Have a wonderful wedding. Today is our one week + 1 day anniversary!

I'm new to this.. I do not have an idea what so ever of how this works.. never been in a forum in my life..I'm not quite sure what I'm doing yet. undecided.gif  I stumbled upon La's caletas and it all looks very amazing but i have so many questions and I was hoping to get most of them answered. I read a couple of pages and I'm a bit worried. My fiancé and I are inclined to choose the Paradise packet because of our budget but I'm worried we wont get what we want. So I ask is it really worth the money to have the premier over the paradise packet? We were originally thinking of paying for the DJ but i read that some of you guys opted for the ipod and were happy with that. My question to that is if i bring my ipod along and have the paradise packet would i still be able to use the professional sound system or is this only available to the premier? Also In the paradise packet is it true that the wedding isn't really private and you have other tourist lurking around? and most importantly, do you actually share the line of buffet with people other than your guest? What is the biggest diff between these to packets? I saw a previous bride post a picture of a very simple decor with only white linens over the chair and no ribbon what so ever.. is this optional or do you have to pay extra for every lil detail.. My major concern is not being surprised along the line with extra charges for what ever they can think of. Sorry for all the questions. I'm a lil impatient to know all these answers so i can start booking and organizing things. Thanks

Just a few days until I leave for my wedding on the 18th...people keeping asking me why I'm so calm and not freaking out..I think it is because I trust Kelley so completely and I know she will make everything beautiful...just another reason I'm so happy that I choose Las Caletas. I'll make sure to do a review and post loss of pictures when I get back on the 30th.

Hi ladies,

So just curious what everyone is doing/has done for their  cake. I guess the standard is with flowers . I dont mind but I have been looking at pics and have a certain cake in mind with a design around cake. Not too elaborate but not exactly plain either. Just wondering if more elaborate requests are available and at what extra charge. ? Ok thanks ladies

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
