Las Caletas Couples ~ POST HERE!!! (**All LC Brides...PLEASE READ 1st post, red text)

Moosie - this is super helpful.  Is the price the same at $575 if you get both the raw & edited footage?  Did she send you or direct you to any samples of footage from past weddings to get an idea of what it looks like?  I'm super curious to see what the footage looks like from recent weddings!

I am using the videographer they provide, and Kelley gave the option of edited, raw or both footage. I opted for both. I hope this info helps!

Not sure if this is appeals to you but I am going to do fan programs in LC.  I have seen them before and I think they will be a great "2 in 1" for people to use if it is really hot.  They are totally cute and customizable.  You can order them through websites fully made but here is a DIY site as well if you want to save some $ and have full creative control:

Anyway, I need help with programs for the wedding. Does anyone have a template, or do you get information from Kelley? I don't know where to start with that. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks girls!

More recently, Kelley sent me a general link which shows a compilation of weddings, so it's not an actual video of one wedding.

http://www.adventureweddingsphoto.com/#/video/ It still looks nice though and gives me an idea of what to expect from the videographer. I don't think there is an additional charge for both; she has been updating my contract/estimate as more details are finalized, and it is still $575 but with a notation that we want both raw and edited footage.

When I first inquired about Las Caletas, Kelley did send me some video links. To be honest I haven't even looked at them (and I can't access youtube right now), but hopefully these will give you a better idea as well.

Here are videos that were downloaded ….

I hope this information helps! The excitement is truly building for the big day!!

I just had a surprise bridal shower here at work! I feel so loved, and it's really dawning on me now that the wedding is fast approaching. :)

I was just thinking, do any past Las Caletas brides have experiences with using the restrooms while in your dress? I know this is a strange question, but when I visited Las Caletas the bathrooms were nice but pretty small. My dress is not big by any means, but it is still a wedding dress with some layers, and I'm trying to anticipate how to handle the inevitable!

Oh, thanks for letting me know I didn't even watch them! Yes, it sounds like having both raw and edited footage will be a good thing. I'm glad I opted for both then! :)

Hello Ladies,

I'm not an official Las Caletas bride yet but I'm hoping to be soon! I recently got engaged and my fiance and I both knew we wanted a destination wedding. I've done tons of research on the Las Caletas and I love it!! However, my fiance's parents are apprehensive to go to Mexico and its turning into a huge deal. I feel like my dreams are being crushed of having my dream wedding there. I dont know how to get passed this issue. I feel like if we have it there then I'll feel guilty since they're nervous to go there but if I change the location then it wouldn't be my dream wedding. Part of me just wants to say "ITS MY WEDDING!!" I'm confused on what to do. I feel like if I dont have it there I'll regret it. I know Hawaii is pretty and could have a nice wedding there but I've already fallen in love with Las Caletas!!! Have any other brides had this issue? Thanks for letting me vent

My family was the same way and some people are not coming due to fear...My family lives in Hawaii and I decided that Mexico was what we wanted. Do some research on Mexico and provide it to them..I think a few pages back on this we have a link to a good article. When it comes down to is this is your wedding and you do what you want...

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Its finally my wedding month!! April 30 is right around the corner.  Congrats to all the April brides!  I Haven't checked in for awhile so I thought I would say hello and I have a quick question-  has anyone eaten at El Arrayan in PV?  We were scheduled to have our welcome party at Epoca, but sadly they have lost their lease and closed.  So..... our welcome parry is now at El Arrayan.  The owner is really nice and if you have at least 45 people, you get the entire restaurant to yourselves!  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
