@ Nessa0308, Yes my sister's wedding will be Eva's first LC wedding. She is getting married in Oct. We were nervous because she had not shoot a wedding there before, but we asked Kelley and she said she heard good things about her. Kelley mentioned that one of the best PV photogs actually referes clients to Eva if she is booked. We thought that had to be a good sign lol!!!

Yes, that is exactly what they are! and yep! I did send her an idea of what I wanted. It didnt turn out EXACTLY like the picture I sent her.. but that is because she had a much better idea! She is VERY good at that. She got me these GREAT cream colored calla lillies with a purple center. SO COOL! I didnt think to add callas before but I am glad I did!!

Well I dont know if they are cheaper because I never looked into fake flowers. I wanted real ones, and I didnt want the hassel of having MORE stuff to bring.. but I thought that the price was really reasonable.. even with the "upggrade" I got.. and they turned out GREAT! They lasted the WHOLE night.. and I took then back with me and ended wearing one of the flowers in my hair each night.. I loved doing that because I felt like the flowers didnt go to waste that way.. they lasted the rest of the week.

I had to look at the pic to remember how many were at what table..

it looks like me like we had 6 per table. They were at an angle and there were 3 on each side of our sweetheart table. As far as I know you can skip having the sweetheart table and have another table of 6 (or possibly cool.gif there if you dont like you and your husband not sitting my yourselves.

she sent me a chart of how many can go at what table and where they are.. let me see if I can find it

Hi

I started an old post elsewhere, but as I can see ,there's a TON more info here!!  So the wedding is to be sometime early Nov 2011 at LC . It's going to be a small wedding (10-20 pp) still in the early planning. I have lots of questions re: budget, photographers, flowers, and where to stay. I have been to PV once and stayed at the Buenaventura for a week and fell in love with PV. So the first question is. How much are people usually spending on the weddings. my fi and i will be paying for it ourselves... and wel.....l would like to have a number to work with??  Pls help!! Thanks everyone

Welcome girls!  Congrats!  You will love Las Caletas!

Katherine- search for budgets.  We have many threads with budgets and I know brides have uploading their spreadsheets that itemizes costs.  That should give you a better start to figure out what type of budget you are looking at.  I think my total budget was around $14k- which I included my 2 week honeymoon stay, LC total cost for 20 people, wedding dress, welcome dinner, photography, groom attire, etc.  However, this number is totally subjective because everyone has different priorities.  I think my LC total was $6-7k.  I can't remember.

What Rachel said is about exactly what I have to say. My wedding for 32 people was close to $8000 and the total spent on everything including our week at Dreams PV, dress, gifts and everything was around $12,000 which also included out wedding bands and all that.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
