rofl.gif rofl.gif soooo your nightmare dream was sort of my reality....News of the swine flu last year broke pretty much on our wedding day (good thing all of our guests were there already!) AND on our wedding day, I forgot my make-up, money to pay fernando (hair guy) AND my ipod song lists didnt save and/or work correctly! It all was fine though in the end smile78.gif

don't worry everything will end up just perfect!

haha, yeah funny thing was though that I was so calm on my wedding day, I didn't even freak about any of it! normally I stress a lot about little things like that however I just didn't get worried, I figured it would all work out and it was FINE!

Have any of you past Las Caletas brides had the fireworks at their wedding?? Im just wondering if it is worth getting.
you can get them but I did not....from what I have heard from past brides (on here but I can't remember who) was that for the price they are not worth it and some of them didn't even pop, they were duds. we opted not to get them for that reason alone.

we thought about it, but we got the fire dancers ... MUCH more "bang for your buck" (excuse the pun). people see fireworks all of the time. not the case with fire dancers! but if you're not getting the fire dancers, i can see the fire works being a pretty cool send off, but i don't know any details!

Hello Ladies!!

It's been FOREVER since I posted. To be honest, I was having a hard time moving from the old thread to the new thread... I think it was separation anxiety! msncry.gif. However, I am now ready to move on!

Someone asked about the cruise + Las Caletas route... that's me! I still haven't spoke with Kelley because I was talking to Nicole this whole time. But it is totally doable and they can work around the cruise schedule no problemo. Pretty much the only difference is that you have to leave Las Caletas by 9pm in order to get back and board the ship for departure by 10pm. But we are just planning on continuing the party in the dance club on the ship!

Mind you, this is assuming you are cruising with Carnival via the 7-day Mexican Riviera Cruise... from what I have found they are docked in Puerto Vallarta the longest (9am-10pm). Plus, Puerto Vallarta is the first stop on the cruise.

I hope this helps future Cruise + Las Caletas brides!

Jaime :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
