Unity Sand & Pronouncement

(Bride) and (Groom) today you join your separate lives together.

The two separate cups of sand in front of us symbolize your separate lives, separate families and separate sets of friends. They represent all that you are and all that youâ€ll ever be as an individual.

But they also represent your lives before today. As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be.

Signing of the Ceremonial Certificate…

Ladies and Gentlemen, (Bride) and (Groom) have demonstrated in your presence today, their belief in their love, and their desire to live together in Holy Matrimony. If you also believe in their love, and wish to add your blessing on their marriage today, please respond now by saying……………WE DO

And are you all willing to sustain and strengthen this marriage, by giving  (Bride) and (Groom) the public commitment of your love and support, through all the ups and downs ahead of them…If you are willing, please say……….WE ARE

Final words from an Apache Prayer…

Now you will feel no rain,
for each of you will be shelter for the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there will be no loneliness,
for each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two persons,
but there are three lives before you: his life, her life and your life together.
Go now to your dwelling place to enter into your days together.
And may all your days be good and long upon the Earth.

                                    Pronouncement

Now that you have joined yourselves in matrimony, may you strive always to meet this commitment, with the same spirit you now are now shining.

We all bear witness to this ceremony, and this bond that has been formed today can be broken by none.

From the City of Puerto Vallarta to Las Caletas Mexico, it is my honour as your Officiant today, to now declare you both Husband and Wife.

Ladies and Gentlemen family and friends, Mr. And Mrs. (Last Name)

(Groom), you may kiss your Bride.

Congratulations....

Hi ladies,

For those of you who hired a videographer for your wedding, looking back, do you think it was worth it? or was it something you could have done without?

I am debating whether to hire a videographer because 1) extra cost but I will do it if it's worth it 2.) I'm having 2 photopraphers in my package and I'm thinking they will take enough pictures for the whole day to capture the day and those pictures can be presented as a montage later.

I would really appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks

you might want to read back through some of the thread about others thoughts on completely surprising your guests with a boat ride, especially if you already have over 70!  Some guests might want to take dramamine, some guests might want to wear different shoes than originally planned (ex: high heels vs. flip flops), people might want to take a jacket or sweater especially with being gone for several hours, etc. the boat ride is a great feature but I would just think about your guests and the total surprise.

at the very least i would suggest that you let them know there is a 45min boat ride to get to the private wedding location. that way there is still the element of surprise.

Hi Andi,

Thanks for your response. I planned to let people know the night before that they should expect a boat ride as part of the wedding festivities. :) So I think we are covered there! But I do appreciate the advice.

These are just the most recent vows.  They are kind of a "copy and paste" type.  I think you can do what you what to do....

Hi fellow Las Caletas brides! I'm getting married there May 8, 2011...it's coming up quickly eek! I'm so excited and have loved working with Kelley.

I am using the videographer they provide, and Kelley gave the option of edited, raw or both footage. I opted for both. I hope this info helps!

Hey everyone! I'm just under the 3 month mark too! I feel like there is so much for me to do, but I have no idea! Actually, I'm more stressed about the AHR! Anyway, I need help with programs for the wedding. Does anyone have a template, or do you get information from Kelley? I don't know where to start with that. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks girls!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
