rbowman- all you do is send kelley a pic of what you like.  She actually puts them together herself.  She did such a great job with the bouquets.  And the cost resonable.

ok I just typed a ton and lost it! here it is in a nutshell.

what would I do differently?

1. go out to caletas earlier

2. Add the extra hour

3. be aware that those that have difficulty walking will have trouble here.  We had 2 in wheelchairs.

favorite part:

cant choose one.  going to caletas early with my bms, exploring caletas, swimming in the ocean, drinking champagne, getting ready, taking pics, ceremony was awesome, reception dancing, speeches, boat ride back, sooooo much more too!

 rbowman -

I sent Kelley a few options of flowers that I liked.  Gerbera Daisies are my favorite flowers.  I told her I wanted Hot Pink and Orange.  I freaked at the last minute and changed my table runners and napkins to black vs orange and I was so happy that I did.  The black made my colors "pop" at the reception.

I saw this picture and sent it to her:  I think she did a better job at copying it.

On things I would do different:

I agree.  Go out as early as you can because the time flies!

The stairs to the casita is a haul, warn your guests.  Lots of stairs.

We had so much food leftover, I wished I could've arranged to donate to a family in need. We took about 5 slices of the wedding cake (b/c there is a dessert bar).  I ended up leaving the cake b/c I didnt know what to do with it and the box it came in was gone.  What a waste.

I truly loved everything else about my special day.  It was fun planning with Kelley.  I sent her so many pictures, I'm not sure how she kept it all straight.

Chicago...I took one bite "for pictures" and I knew it was good, but so much was going on.  Everyone was full by the time we cut the cake.  But you've GOT to have a wedding cake.  It's just part of the package.   Here is a teaser for all those brides considering Las Caletas.  I see these pictures and want to RUN back.

great pics everyone! I want to go back every time I see the pics too!

Horegan, Kelley will contact you about a month or so before hand. In the meantime get all of your decisions ready to give to her and that will help her out I am sure. If you have any inspiration pics of what you want your wedding to look like save them all in a folder and then send them to kelley all at once when she contacts you to start working out the minor details

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
