With that, here is my planning thread – I can’t believe I leave in less than 2 weeks! –
“Will you be my Bridesmaid” Cards
Vegas of course! I had way too much fun with 12 of my girlfriends. We stayed at THEHotel at Mandalay Bay which is perfect for bachelorette parties as all the rooms are suites with 2 bathrooms! And a bar in the room of course

My wedding Band
FI’s wedding band
Tungsten ring – we were going to go platinum but he’s on the computer all day and we wanted something more scratch resistant
My dress is made by Alvina Valenta – here it is on someone else – sorry girls - you can see it on me after the wedding .
Train is detachable and I’m only wearing it for the Church ceremony
My veil is floor length and I’m just wearing it for the ceremony as it will be too much for the beach
My hair piece
Made by arbiegoodfellow on etsy

I’m going back and forth on these shoe clips (by bpoetic on etsy) I bought or these clip on earrings – I bought them both to clip on the shoes for a little extra pazazz – here they are (I’m leaning toward the shoe clips):
My bridesmaid dresses were made by sarahseven from etsy and I let the girls choose from 3 different versions
Peachy Keen Dress
The groomsmen suits are from Express…they are wearing gray pinstriped pants, a suit vest, and a yellow collared shirt with an ivory tie, and gray chucks – pic below but shirt is the wrong color and tie is missing:
And our cute little ringbearer of course with his outfit:

I’m doing a letter with koozies as I have too many guests for full on out of town bags and I wouldn’t be able to relax if I had to put that many together. I don’t have either finished yet but the koozies are yellow and gray. Well attach them to the letters when we get their with gray ribbon and have them each delivered to the guests rooms.
I would love cream colored peonies but I don’t think that is possible in Mexico right now – so all cream colored something…and for my bridesmaids yellow flowers of some sort – I love ranunculus.
Invitations and Calligraphy
My envelopes were white – this pic is from her etsy store
Here’s a thread on these:
Leather Passport Covers
(sorry can’t find a pic of these)
They are a light gray from that group order Jac did.
Travel Jewelry Rolls
Just dark gray Old Navy flip flops that they can wear at the beach with their dresses for the reception

We really wanted the Flip Mino Camcorders that I recommended to some girls on here but FI was adamant on the camcorder being 1080P and HD (he’s a techy computer geek) so we found this Aiptek version for less ($120 on amazon) than the HD Mino version which was $249 – and with 9 groomsmen, that would just be too much $$
We also bought their ties (ivory), belts, and yellow socks
Welcome Dinner – BananaCantina:
I was looking for an inexpensive option since we had so many people. We wanted to keep the cost down. I found Banana Cantina on tripadvisor and I’m so happy I did. We get to rent out the whole restaurant on Thanksgiving night. It fits about 55 people and we got a better deal than any of the other restaurants I was looking at – and this one is even nicer than half of them. It is really modern and trendy which we loved. Also, Jae the manager is American so she was really easy to talk to. She was also great over email and always got back to me in a timely manner.
And here is our postcard invitation from vistaprint
Rehearsal Dinner Dress
J Crew Cutwave Dress
Some of my way too many Wedding/Honeymoon Clothing purchases (only because I love it when people post these )

Ceremony / Church – Iglesia De Guadalupe:
We’re having a Catholic ceremony at Iglesia De Guadalupe. I love this Church, it is so gorgeous.
Resort / Reception – Dreams Puerto Vallarta
The reception will be on the beach with a dance floor, lounge, and dinner tables.
After joining this forum and picking Puerto Vallarta – I fell in love with the Dazzling Details after finding them on here (I am a horrible DIY’er and knew I needed the help of someone talented). They have been nothing but great and I can’t wait to see what they come up with.
And that is it! Sorry I don’t have a lot of wedding specific details. My coordinators like to keep some things surprises so more to come with my review. Also, you can become their facebook fan and they put a lot of pics the week before someone’s wedding on some of their “plans†– “The Dazzling Details†is their fan page – their blog is www.thedazzlingdetails.com/blog and my photographers is Stephanie Williams Photography Blog wedding and portrait photography blog . I’ll miss you all!
