wow!! that cathedral is gorgeous!!!! I looked into it before we decided on Cancun and it's amazing, especially in Dec because they decorate it beautifully--you won't have to spend much in that department!! I think it should be fine b/c it hasn't really gotten cold yet...mid Nov and we haven't turned the heat on once!! I read an article the other week that said the really cold weather won't come to atl unitl jan/feb this time around.
awww i'm so excited for you!! I always secretly wanted the big dress and the cathedral setting, so post pics and I can live vicariously through you!!

hey carolina 24 -- I have an appt for new natalies tomorrow!!! i work in alpharetta so i just have to kind of leave work a little early. he he.

 

i agree, that church is soooo pretty. most people reserve it 18 months in advance, so i figured it was a sign when they told me i could have it on a sat @ 2pm (with like 40 days notice). They only have weddings on saturdays at 12, 2 and 7!

 

But they do NOT mess around. They gave me FOUR pdf's of things that you can and cannot do. LOL.

 

it is so funny how things work out. now i just have figure out my bridal party....my FI has 9 groomsmen (including my 3 brothers). We are really close so i am trying to decide on whether or not to put my brothers on my side or to just bite the bullet and have 7 - 9 bridesmaids. LOL. decisions decisions.

oohhh, that's so exciting about tomorrow, and it's a perfect excuse to leave work early can't wait to hear a/b your experience. I worked with Maria the first time, but when I went back for the trunk show, she was in Colombia b/c her mom was really sick maybe she's back now....she's very nice. When I got my dress there was another spanish lady there and I can't remember her name but she was great as well!! The only thing that sucks is the parking lol!!

 

Girl, if that isn't a sign I don't know what is!!! especiall at 2 pm, that's the perfect time--not too early, not too late!!! Sometimes we want everything the way we think it should go, but God knows better than us!! Yeah they are really strick a/b music and flowers and stuff but I'm sure it will be gorgeous. Sooo excited for you!!!

 

btw...we have 3 BM and 2 GM and I think it's ok. I didn't him to add someone or me to take someone away for the sake of it. but I think that your brothers on your side would be really special and it would look soooo cute, b/c it's like their giving you away too!!! my brothers are both younger than me, but so protective that they want to be the ones who give me away when the minister asks who gives this woman to be married lol!!

YAY! i met with Maria yesterday and LOVE her. i did not find THE dress, but i am going to go back when we have more time. There is one potential though - and the prices are great. My choices are just so limited because i have to buy it off the rack. The right one will come!

omg!! 4.5 hours and david's bridal and still nothing. I found three dresses that i liked a lot though. But most importantly - i did get my SHOES!!!!!!!!

Got my DRESS!!! i went back to New Natalies and Maria found it! oh yea - and i still need shoes! my brides maids actually bought my shoes and it turns out they were fake Christian Louboutin's! And 250 is wayyy to much to spend on a knock off! i go for alterations on sat - so i will post pics.
