I have only finished 8 of my OOT bags but I'm really excited. I am making them out of beach towels - and they open up into a full size towel! I'm still trying to figure out how to post pictures on the site - but I have posted links to my Flickr account

Here is a picture of it as a bag: bag - closed on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

This picture is harder to see - but it is opened as a towel: bag - open on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Now I just have to make 40 more AND figure out what I'm going to put in the bags! I bought the pattern off of Etsy - so if anyone wants it, I'm happy to send you the seller's information.

Ok - I did my homework and can post pictures now.

I also got towels in brown and blue - and brown and pink. The only problem is, they're kind of cheap. Because I needed to purchase 96 towels, I didn't want to spend a ton of money. I think each one was about $5 - which means that they're pretty thin. I still think my guests are going to love them.

They are somewhat time consuming but worth it. I made my own little assembly line. First I cut all the pieces, then I sewed all the straps - and then the rest of the bag. I put my fiance to work as the thread cutter. I would say each bag probably takes an hour, start to finish.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
