shoes for beach ceremony???

Recommended Posts

Hey try Cobian Flip flops, Cobian Sandal Gallery: Womens

... I am wearing the Edens in White for our beach wedding in the sand and have my heart set on an a pair of Over-Priced shoes for our reception as well! I don't care what it cost, its my wedding and I don't buy myself too many luxury items and feel this is the one time to spoil myself. So I made sure to work it into my budget. The Edens are really comfy and I think they have a pair that is a bit taller as well. Good luck! Go with what you love and then plan everything around that!! :)

Vday - your shoes are fantastic, I'm a loud whore, no joke and his shoes are so comfy!!! I am having the same delima, as it looks right now I'll be spending more on my shoes than my dress and I'm OK with that considering I can wear the shoes over and over again and the dress once. =)

I've been debating this too. I'm only 5'4", so my dress will look much better with heels on. Plus I LOVE high heels (the taller the better). But I will have to walk at least a little in the sand to get the the runner leading to the wedding gazebo.

I've been looking for wedges and have found several cute ones but none that I love. Now I'm thinking of just forgetting being practical all together and splurging on heels.

I've never tried walking in heels on the sand. Is it really that hard?

Have any of you tried with any success? Or should I spare myself the embarrassment of falling on my face in front of all of my guests and go with the wedges?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
