Where to get hawaiian wedding favours?

Hello people,

Does anyone know where I could purchase Hawaiian wedding favours in Hawaii. I thought it would be best to order the favours in Hawaii then have them sent to my hotel so my MOH and I could assemble as we sip our Mai Tai's.

Also could you Hawaiian brides recommend some ideas for your wedding favours? I was thinking about vintage postcards, a silk fan, perhaps some macademia nut or coffee type favour. Any other suggestions.

Also, I saw this cool gift bag on the destination wedding website. See link below:

Destination Weddings and Honeymoons: Destination Weddings, Honeymoon Vacation Packages, Honeymoon Destination Tips - Real Wedding: Jammie and Rick - Maui, Hawaii, page 7

Does anyone know where I could purchase or order bags like these in my wedding colours (salmon pink and cherry red)?

Thanks Lori.

Hey Lori, I'm actually using Lauhala gift boxes to hold my favors (Lauhala Favor Box) and filling them with cookies from the Honolulu Cookie Company (Honolulu Cookie Company - Shortbread Specialist). I'm doing separate OOT bags and going to put two postcards in each (with postage) and a bunch of other favors (underwater camera, sunblock, personalized water bottles, beach towels, chocolate covered macadamia nuts, etc) Here's a pic that inspired me to do the wedding favors - Wedding Reception at Seawatch Restaurant, Maui on Flickr - Photo Sharing! About the coffee....my favorite coffee in Maui is from Maui Coffee Company - Maui Coffee Co. offering the finest Kona Coffee. - you can find it on the islands in Safeway, ABC store etc. The ABC store is a great place to find little gifts for people!

Try Big Island Candies....YUM!!! They are locally made in Hilo, on the Big Island and they are fabulous. If you are in Hilo, def stop by the store, you can watch the little aunties making the candies in the factory. Plus if you really want something local, they have favorites like chocolate covered ika (squid!) or mochi...

I read some place that Wal-Mart has a Hawaii tourist section that has the same stuff you can get any where in Hawaii, but much cheaper plus fresh bins of mac nuts, coffee, etc.  So, I'm checking there when we get into town for our OOT bags.  Our restaurant has these cute ceramic Tiki glasses that I'm getting for the reception favors - you may check with your reception site too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
