Be careful of the Kleinfeld sample sale. My best friend went and ended up buying a dress b/c she was so swept up in the day. It wasn't right and she ended up buying a second dress and plans to sell the first one on eBay. If you find something, make sure it's 'your' dress - and you're not just buying a dress b/c of the pressure of finding one there.

When my friend was at the sample sale, she met Carmel and liked her - so when we went back for the second dress, she requested her. I thought she was horrible - fake and rude. She very obviously didn't remember my friend but pretended to and then after a few minutes was saying how much she loved her and her parents who were at the sample sale. She also snapped at me because I was made a comment about being drawn to one dress over another b/c it was more my style - making the point that I wasn't impartial and if my friend liked the other dress more, to ignore me. My friend knew exactly what I was saying - and I thought Carmel was out of line and rude. I wasn't surprised when she was let go.

When I got my dress at Kleinfeld, I had an amazing experience. You don't have to get one of the consultants featured on TV to have the Kleinfeld experience. When my consultant came out to greet me, she was an older woman - and I did not feel extremely confident with her - but my fears were unfounded. She was a pro - she's been in the business forever and knew what she was doing. Granted I made her job pretty easy - I started to cry with the third dress I tried on and knew it was the one. The best part was that it was a trunk show that day and I not only met the designer of my dress (Anne Barge) but she was the one who picked out my veil and she got me kleenex so I wouldn't stain the sample dress with my tears. It made it really special.

I had no desire to be on TV but I did want to meet Randy - and he's exactly like you see on TV. Hilarious.
Thank you so much for the words....I am partly afraid to go because I do not want to get caught up in the moment!! LOL I have a few other stops first...so...hopefully if I go...I will not get caught up!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
