Temptations Adults only Resort and Spa, Cancun - Anyone vacation there?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

So I am playing with the idea of honeymooning at the Temptations Resort and Spa in Cancun. It is an Adults only resort that can have some risque/fun entertainement and nudity (topless women) throughout the resort. I am well aware of all the information on this resort and what it offers and what goes on at the resort. I have read the reviews on tripadvisor.ca and looked at all the pictures and am kinda leaning towards this resort. It looks like a ton of fun with alot of people our age and although some of the reviews were not good (which seemed to come from couples or people that are very conservative by nature), it still has not turned me away. I am not the jealous type so I dont care if women are going topless, besides he just married me the week earlier by then.

I have heard how romantic this resort is and how it caters to newlyweds and that the staff is top notch....

Just wondering if anyone has been there and what they thought of it? If you dont want to respond on this thread, please PM me as I would love to hear from you and see any pictures you might be willing to send me!!!

Thanks!!!!shots.gif

Hi Jenny

I had to reply b/c I just came across this resort a few days ago. I've been to a nude beach before and it was sooo much fun...and no tan lines!! bunny_4.gif I am not the jealous type either, and it seems like it would be a fun couples adventure. However, I must say that I don't feel like it would be the best place to go on your honeymoon. It should be about the two of you, experiencing being husband and wife and enjoying that. I just think that you might BOTH get a little distracted, even if its just with talking about what you see (or don't), and it would take away from the newly wed vibe. Fun trip, but for a different occasion. Good luck!!

Carolina,

Thanks for the input. I really do like the resort bc of what it can provide on the romance side of things for our honeymoon. They offer so much more then the other resorts do. Still not sure what we are doing but I will keep that in mind when deciding.

I think it will depend on what we are looking for....we have been living together for such a long time that our honeymoon wont be as such a big thing to us as it would be for most newly married couples. I think we will be looking at it more like a vacation with the perk of us just getting married....however it is good to hear that perspective for sure! Thanks again for your input!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
