quick question: I am new to running (and only run on the treadmill at the gym) and I'm doing well, but my ankles are killing me! What can I dohuh.gif Is it my shoes? I have running shoes, but maybe they're just too old? Help!

It probably is your shoes! Once they have so many miles on them they do not provide as much support. If you have a local running store go there and get fitted for a good pair. Here is a link you might find useful. :)

I agree! I ran mines practically into the ground and started getting ankle pain, which got better when I got a new pair!

527.61 + 1.5 (yesterday, mixed it with the bike) + 5.36 (today) = 534.47 BDW miles

Wow! I've just started running - registered for a half in October - ran (s - l - o - w - l -y)my first 5k a few weeks ago and was surprised that I had fun!

 

556.73 + 3 (yesterday) = 559.73
