How do I include 15yr old son into bridal party when FI has already chosen his guys?

I LOVE the idea of him walking you down the aisle! I was going to suggest a personal attendant, so he can be behind the scenes with you. That way you'll get to spend a lot of time with him on the day of the wedding and he feels like it's most important for you to have him by your side all day.

I am in a similar situation but my FI has 2 boys, 13 & 14. He has two groomsmen and i have one bridesmaid and a man of honor. Yes this is going to be interesting!! Anywho, we have thought about having them walk me down the aisle, but my mom really wants to do that. So we have decided to have an odd number on his side. There will be 4 (including the two boys) on his side and then 2 on my side. We may split them up while we stand there, but honestly it is a unique wedding anyways...does it really matter?!?

Are you having a sand ceremony? I ask because that could be another great way to involve him. My cousin just got married and he has a son from a previous relationship so he and his bride did the sand ceremony along with his son...each of them had a different color sand that they poured together into one vase as a symbol of their new family uniting and merging. There wasn't a dry eye in the place:) They did that in addition to having him walk down the aisle with the bridal party.

You can do this with the unity candle too if you don't want a sand ceremony...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
