I know! That's why we were so freaked out, I guess there just hasn't been as much travel from there as they hoped. She said it still is going to be leaving from Vancouver and Edmonton direct flight to Jamaica next year. Although it may be a possibility that they drop Edmonton too, but if that happens we will go VIA Vancouver. She said only Air Canada will be offering direct flights only on Mondays from Calgary. We are going through Air Transat. And the cost is much higher leaving Calgary as opposed to Edmonton($1990 out of Calgary and $1720 out of Edmonton). Because the date is so far away things may change but they have definitely dropped the direct flights leaving Calgary next year with Air Transat.

Yes I received an email from Donnalee today, do you have an email address for the Manager?  I'm a little concerned that booked via a Travel Agent and Donnalee now says that they have no record of our Wedding and we're flying in less than 13 weeks, something is seriously wrong!

Well we flew out of Calgary with transat to Jamaica.  We had one stop in Cuba and probably dropped off 85% of the plane.  When we landed in Jamaica there was maybe only like 40 people that got off so it makes sense.  I know sometimes they combine the flights from Calgary/Edmonton.  For example, our flight when we got on in Calgary there was already some people on the plane who had flown from Calgary.  So maybe they are going to be changing it so that the people from Calgary fly to Edmonton first.  And be warned.  Ours was supposed to be a non stop flight from Calgary to Jamaica but like a week before we were to leave they changed it so we had to stop in Cuba both ways.  My travel agent said this is something they will be doing more of because the flights to Jamaica are never full so they will combine them with another destination.

Hi Ladies. This has nothing to do with the resort, but I have a question for my AHR. Im doing a candy bar/buffet...I'd like to do a lot of pink candies. Just wondering if anyone has experience in buying a lot of candy! Should I just go somewhere like bulk barn, or should I order bags online???

              Thanks

My close friend did this at her wedding and she compared the two ways, such as going to bulk barn or ordering online.  She found that buying them online limited the amount of selection because of the larger quantity of each type of candy, where as going to bulk barn she was able to get way more different types of candies in just a smaller quantity of each.  I guess it depends what you want, more variety or not.
