Haha...We are going to send ours home with a family member, probably one of my brothers, then I have more room in my suitcase for shopping the second week!!

I emailed Chandlynn about this a week ago and she told me it was "220".

Turquoise & Brown :( Thank-you for offering though!
I know we talked about it before! It would've been awesome if we would have coordinated! I have some pretty snazzy centerpieces that I made and am bringing with. I do have table runners, they're dark brown woven material that I got at JYSK for $1 each (clearance, yay!)

On another note I just bought these great little luggage tags to give to my guests.  I'm so pumped about them I thought I'd share a pic

Congrats Schayer, cant wait to see your pictures as we are using Marcia as well.  Im glad it all worked out for you as it can be very stressful .

As for others who are considering buying their sashes or renting them I found a site that has them for 80c a sash so it works out to be a lot cheaper if you dont mind carrying them with you to Jamaica

Hi Ladies!

My fiance and I are getting married at this resort on November 15th, 2011! Our ceremony is at 2pm. That is about all I have planned. We have 45 confirmed guests attending so I am leaning toward the private reception. Does anyone know if they have options to have the reception in a banquet room? Also, does anyone have any info on why we have to pay for the alcohol per guest when we are all paying for the all inclusive?? Oh...I have sooo many questions! :)

The resort is beautiful...we actually got engaged in the wedding gazebo in March 2010!

Hope to hear from you soon!!

Welcome to this thread, and congrats on booking your date!!  From what I understand you aren't paying for the cost of the alcohol per guest, but rather the extra staff required to serve the alcohol for you.  Same as for the dinner, you are not paying for the food but rather the extra staff required to be there.

I actually found them online at Party City in the US for $2.79 each so I think I'll end up ordering from there. Plus their glasses and other favours are really great and very reasonably priced!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
