Any Gran Bahia Principe Runaway Bay Brides out there?

Recommended Posts

Im flying from Manchester we have a group of 31 flying on the 27th July 2014. They matched Thomas Cooks price which was cheaper than online anyway. I just went into my local first choice shop and they have been fabulous.
Oh awesome! Thanks for the info, I'm headed to England on Wednesday so I'll make sure to go get a quote.

Ya that's a pretty good price for lanterns. If your from Toronto area, Chinatown Kensington market have lots. Also homedepot has pink ones 4 or 5 for 10 bucks. About the trip costs I am paying 1520 for dbl occ. leaving from Toronto April 6 2014 with airtransat. I talked to my agent for updates today as deposits are due by mid july. We apparently have the luxury gran bahia don Pablo collection. Does anyone know what the difference is?

I have about 25 ppl attending so not as large as some of you other brides. I'm still on fence about what to do after diner and sky lanterns. I keep going back and forth on options. What are you doing soontobewalsh? And what's ur guest list up to so far? I'm assuming your becoming a Walsh....lol and I was Walsh!

Hey there, I also got the sky laterns here is the link and it's free shipping....ok so it won't let me post it but the website is

www.aliexpress.com

I got 25 laterns for 22 dollars and change with free shipping, and then I had more people confirm on coming so I had to buy more.

I got 10 for 9.65, if you go on that website make sure u keep looking cause sometimes different sellers have different prices, and you can find them cheaper.

That's Awesome! Yes I am going to be a Walsh...I'm assuming that there will be two Walsh weddings then on our day?....hopefully there wont be any confusion between our two weddings :)

We have 26 ppl coming so far!  But we do have a few ppl waiting for last minute deals, and a few from out of the country, so we should have about 30 people in the end.

As for sky lanterns I was originally all for them, but my FI didn't like the idea of potentially causing a fire somewhere if they went inland. So we are not going to do them.  After dinner I figured we would just go to one of the bars, and go to the disco after if we feel like it.  We are trying to keep things pretty simple.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
