Thanks!

For the private reception, I meant, for the open bar, if it would be better to get the romance package in conjunction with the private reception, or do the free package with the private reception and pay for the open bar. Forgot to mention the bar part! haha

:)

I think it depends on the number of people you have attending, and the kind of bar you want (international $$$ vs domestic $$ vs cocktails $).

Are you adding a steel drum band, cocktails after ceremony, champagne? These are not included in the free package. Also I think the free package has a limit of 16 people- after which you pay a price per person. The romance package includes 30 people.

I think we will have between 40-50 people.

I am not sure what type of bar we want. Just weighing the pros and cons of which package we want to go with. We don't need most of the extras in the Romance package, we don't need any of the photos, the return visit, the spa discount, but on the other hand we like the free open bar, the cocktails reception after the ceremony and the later ceremony times. Such a hard decision!

The free wedding has a minimum of 16 people, then you pay $30USD for everyone after 30.

Did anyone not book their wedding day three business days in advance of when they arrived?

We arrive on Saturday and really don't want to wait (sun burns, hangovers, stress) until Thursday to get married.

I have emailed the resort to try and change it, which I need to know this week to book my photographer. Any advice?

Thanks!

We arrive on a Thursday and are having our wedding on the following Tuesday. It is not technically 3 business days but the hotel didn't say anything so I assume it's fine.

Not sure if you are aware of the charge to bring in an outside photographer, $900USD.

Hi all, first time poster and hoping those who have recently had their wedding or are still planning can help answer some questions that I can't seem to find answers to regarding the prices

- Do the packages not include bridesmaid flowers? Does anyone know how much these cost?

- Decorations for the gazebo - again, cost for this?

- Did anyone find that 80 photos from the photographer was inadequate? What did it cost for more?

- For Private restaurant, what exactly is included for $2500? My understanding from reading some old posts is:

Dinner

Open bar for 2 hours

Private Venue

Decorations for venue

DJ/Music/Microphone for speeches????

What is the max # of people included for 2500$ is it 40??

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE :)

Soooo disappointed. Just received word from my travel agent that Transat (who we booked with) will not be flying from Alberta to Montego Bay in 2017 which means I likely will not be able to have the wedding I have already planned at the Bahia Príncipe Runaway Bay :'(

Oh no :( since they changed their flights I'm assuming you can change your carrier with no issues? If yes can your TA find another carrier that does fly there during your wedding month? Good luck

Hello Ladies,

I need help, deciding whether or not to go for the Free or the unforgettable package. We are having a private reception at the pool side terrace with a buffet (ridiculously priced buffet for being all inclusive) plus we want a bar.

we have approx 45 guest. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
