I honestly have no idea who the wedding planner is - and it seems that lots of people are dealing with different people in the wedding department.  My contact is Vinnette.

I am also dealing with Vinnette.

Regarding the tumblers...if you're interested, this is what I did.  I bought clear tumblers from dollarama ($2 a piece), and then got personalized vinyl waterproof stickers from a seller off of etsy, called Davet designs (http://www.etsy.com/shop/DavetDesigns).  They turned out great, and sooooo easy to personalize.  She was very quick at responding and getting them to us.

For favors, we got bottle openers (for beer) that look like flip flops, and much like how we personalized our tumblers with vinyl waterproof stickers, we did that with our favors as well!

Thanks tram13  I will look into that!!

I've been looking for bridal jewelry and have found a shop on etsy from the Chatham-Kent area... http://www.etsy.com/shop/ElegantChicJewel

She has lots of pretty bracelets at a reasonable price, and will do sets for the bridal party.

Let me tell you, these 100 days will fly by! I get married Nov 15th, and leave in less than 40 days. I think 38? It's madness. I feel like there's 100 things to do!?!?! Ahh!
Don't forget to breathe and relax :-) I had a friend get so stressed out for her destination wedding that she didn't enjoy herself leading up to the wedding....and nobody noticed except her when something was wrong. I'm determined to not sweat the small stuff :-) Hope you have a beautiful wedding, and everything falls into place :-)

We're heading there at the end of December and staying 2 weeks. Our wedding is January 3rd and we make our way back home on the 12th. Crazy that we are less than 100 days away. Seems like not that long ago we had a year to go. kts883 we may see you there :)
Jennelle: We'll have to track each other down and have a drink to toast our nuptials:-)

Hi Novr - I got my BM's matching bracelets with a pretty bow that went well with their dresses.  I also got silk robes from Macy's on Black Friday sale for $10 each.  I personalized them with iron on rhinestones purchased at the local fabric store.  For my MOH, I splurged and got her a new Pandora bracelet with her first charm. She loved it!!  For my mothers I got them Swarovski  crystal earrings (bought during Black Friday sales as well).  For the guys we bought them all matching shirts for the wedding, the Best man was given personalized silver flask.  Start buying early and watch for sales during the Holiday season....our wedding was in July, and we bought all our bridal party gifts during black Friday sales in the US.

Happy Planning :cheer2:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
