My countdown clock is ticking...I fly out in 2 wks from tomorrow...40 guests booked and away we go!!!!  I'm so excited..and have butterflies...but looking forward to enjoying every moment.

If anyone locally needs a good contact for alterations, please let me know.  The lady I used is awesome and reasonably priced...she has impressed both me and my MOH and we are both pretty picky.

Packing is going to be interesting...I'm starting that next week..right now i'm setting up my seating plan and hoping that we can have our packing done by next week so we can finalize anything we need....i just want to be relaxed on this trip.

The resort didn't pull the deposit from my credit card as yet...should I be worried??

My mom actually called to speak with Someone a couple weeks ago. If you have Over 50 guests who HAVE to pay for a private dinner and the Piscis is cheaper than the private dinner at one of the restaurants. So it was an easy decision.

211 more days.....

I feel like a kid on a long car drive, "are we there yet? Are we there yet".

Lol I know exactly how you feel I can't wait for the day to finally be here! I was supposed to have my wedding in May 2014 but had to move it to October 2014... Even longer wait! :P

omg! I would die if i had to wait longer!

Thanks!

Hi Mallenbride

I will post pictures from my private reception when I return mid July. I am having my reception at the Dolce Vita and paid the 2,500$ to close it down for the evening and for the DJ.

I have 68 people attending my wedding and because of the size of the group wanted to make sure we had a private venue to all eat together and do speeches and dance.

I opted for the indoor venue because the weather at the end of June / early July is very hot and humid and figured the indoor venue would be more comfortable for my guests.

Hey Staycee

I would love the contact for your Alterations.  I will be moving to St. Catherines this Summer, is it anywhere near?

Good luck on the packing and wedding :)

Hey LinzWarr...she is located in Brampton. Not very close to St. Catherines...but if you need the contact let me know.  I referred someone else to her who just picked up their wedding gown today..and also had great feedback.

Inbox me if you need the info...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
