I've been emailing back and forth with Chandlyn however I've now not heard back from here since the end of November. I wish she'd just give me a month that I can confirm my date.

I am a travel agent so I'm doing most of the arrangement however I'm having a friend/coworker handle the actually money and booking of guests, figure I have enough to do with planning lol

I see you are hoping to have your reception at the Piscis, hopefully you can give some advice in the future as there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of pictures or info for a reception there

Good idea...I will definitely let you know how it goes...

Has anyone had experience with the piscus snack bar as the reception locaton?  Also, do you need an MC with the DJ service?

I'm also having my reception at the Piscus snack bar on May 1, 213... I believe that a dj is included for 4 hours... we're going to bring a few cd's for the DJ to play.  I'm sure you'll have to look after your own MC.

After quite a few emails I've no gotten a response from chandlyn! She told me she is able to book my wedding date now :) I'm so excited to get the date confirmed and the ball rolling! I'm hoping to have a 4pm ceremony on May 19,2014 I feel it won't be as hot at that time if day, any thoughts?

I just hope it turns out well......and yes the MC hunting begins. I will be bringing my own CDs ...I am sure the DJ will be good. What colours are you having? Are you bringing lots of favours and decor with you? I am still deciding on the wedding favours. Once I confirm the total number of guests....I will have a better idea.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
