Any Gran Bahia Principe Runaway Bay Brides out there?

Recommended Posts

I'm a little confused... So everyone doesn't get the same thing or the bride and groom only have the option of other choices and all your guests get chicjpken?!?
No, all our guests had chicken and hubs had beef bc he has a nut allergy, I had veg option bc I'm a vegetarian most of the time lol (couldn't resist that jerk chicken at the beach snack hut though!) My sis also had the beef bc she is preggers and didn't eat chicken right now.they were pretty flexible.

They will tell you which one is open 2 weeks before your wedding. Sometimes both aren't open from what I have heard. If they are both open I think I would rather go with a more private room than better food... So I would probably pick Dolce Vita.

We've selected the Grill for supper.  For me it was more important to have good food than a private dinner because we'll be able to have the privacy at our dance in the gazebo later that night.  Not to mention I'm more of a picky eater so I didn't care for most of the menu's at Dolce Vita.  I think in the end it's about what you prefer and what's important for you.  If you prefer having a more private dinner, then go with the Italian restaurant, but if you don't care about having lots of privacy then go with the Grill.  I've heard great things about both places in terms of quality of food.  Even though the Grill isn't as private as the Italian restaurant I've heard that it doesn't really matter too much because the Grill is so big that you don't even notice other people in the restaurant as they sit further away.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
