For Mahoe Falls, could you have done pics in the water if you wanted to/were able to?  I really want to get wet on my TTD :)

I had this same question.. we are travelling with three children.

I asked what the price difference is when It comes to getting a connecting room.

I was told that the children have to pay Adult prices in order to get these rooms.( children stay for free)

THEN i was told that upon arrival and paying those prices I wasn't guaranteed to have the connecting rooms at all..

UUUGHHH!!

Yes, we were in the water. Check out my TTD for pics. We only climbed into one tier, we were allowed to go further, but this was good for us :)

Thanks Tris.  I saw your TTD pics several times but for some reason I missed those shots.  Great to know we can stay as dry or get as wet as we want.  BTW, George the peacock has now become my inspiration for my theme and colors.  Thanks for posting your pics!!

Just wondering if anyone got in touch with the resort in advance to try to get all of their group booked into one section of the resort?  I know the resort it huge, so I just don't want to be on the other side of the resort from my bridal party!  I'd read on here previously, that a lot of people were requesting that their group all be in section 23 as it is a newer section, and then they would all be close together.  I had asked Donnalee about this who said it shouldn't be a problem and had given me the email for the front desk manager.  Problem being, I have emailed them twice over the last 3 weeks and have never heard back.  Has anyone else dealt with this differently?

Hey BusyBee- I would check with Karelia Nunez, is that them person they gave you? She is the person you contact when you want to block off a section of rooms. I'll find her email if you want if that's not what you already have. Val

Thanks Val! I appreciate the info!  The only email they gave me was: frontdeskmanagerbpjam@bahia-principe.com.

We are already booked for our all inclusive stay through our travel agent for a one week stay at the resort.  I'm not trying to put a deposit on a block, just trying to ensure that we're all assigned rooms in the same section.  Does Karelia only arrange the initial block of rooms, or can she coordinate post booking?  If you have Karelia's email that would be fabulous! Its likely worth a shot, as I'm not getting anywhere the other way!

Thanks so much!

Check with your TA.  Our TA got in contact with the resort and requested for us to all be in the same section and explained we were a group for a wedding and she said they have placed us all in the same section, confirmed with the resort.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
