I was told for chairs they all have white chair covers and they include the chair covers for the amount of people included in your package and also for each additional person you pay for.  You will have to pay extra for the sashes if you want them

Katelynn - Thanks for the info on Jan's Flowers! :)

Hi Ashley here is the spas email spabpjam@bahia-principe.com

I'm kind of worried now too because I'm getting married in January and am only about to contact them now to book an apppointment...heres hoping! lol

Also just an fyi ladies:

For some reason I wanted to make sure I could put the wedding on my credit card because I don't want to bring down all of that cash with me so I double checked with Beverly and she said you can BUT the ministers fees have to be paid in cash so I just thought I'd let you all know just incase you were planning on doing the same thing I was! It would have really sucked to get down there and have to scramble around to get the money together or give it to them out of my spending money!

Only 50 days until my wedding! I'm so excited but still have quite a bit to do!

I notice alot of Brides saying they still have a ton of things to do, what is it that all needs to be done!?  I don't feel like i really have anything to do and haven't really done anything so far.  I hope i'm not missing a ton of things to do and get down there and realize i didn't do anything right!  Help anyone?

I have already:

- Ordered my dress

- Got bridesmaid dresses

- Picked Flowers

- Got wedding favors for guests

- Got rings

- Booked the trip with the TA

- Scheduled the JP to come to our house to legally marry us (we aren't legally getting married in Jamaica)

I thought that would be everything?

Hi Keriltz - I think you got lots done!  It all depends on how many details you want taken care of before you go down....  You have all the big things taken care of, so don't worry!  Here's my "Done" and "To Do" lists:

Done:

booked and paid for our trip tp Jamaica

confirmed wedding date and time with Beverly

sent our invites

ordered dress

bought FI's suit

bought bridesmaids' dresses

bought GMs' outfits

ordered real touch bouquets

bought flowergirl pomander and ring bearer dish

bought bridesmaid gifts

booked photographer and paid for her trip

booked hair appointment at resort

booked gazebo and DJ for the reception with Beverly

bought wedding jewelry, shoes and hair flower

To Do:

order travel mugs once we have final numbers (we aren't doing OOT bags - just mugs)

buy GM, flowergirl and ring bearer gifts

buy wedding bands - we have them picked out

order sand ceremony frame

get dress alterations done

create playlist for the reception

Hey Everyone....happy Monday! lol

A heads up for things that have helped me:

There is a thread where Brides on here have posted their entire playlist...I am weeding through it now.

http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/42149/anyone-have-their-entire-playlist/130

I bought my sand ceremony frame from the Umbra website and they delivered it to my house in like 2 days...I think it was $40. However, you can buy from Amazon if you live in the USA and I have recently seen them at Chapters!!

We got our mugs from 4imprint.ca and they are AMAZING! and sooo easy and nice to work with, further they are reasonably priced and they still send us samples in the mail like every month of cool stuff!

We got our rings from Mappins. If you sign up online you get a $50 coupon and if you sign up in store for their CC you get an extra 10% off...so Mike and I each did this and our rings together were like $800...a steal if you ask me!

What I still have to do:

I am looking for some nice cards to give my mom, FMIL and grandma the day of the wedding and im going to write a poem inside but have not found any I like...if any of you girls have any suggestions it would be sooo helpful! I have also bought them hankies and thought I would make them an album after the wedding.

Also - what are you girls getting your FI on the wedding day....I am so confused with this!

I think my FI is just going to rent a suit/tux before we go. As for the GM i told them what i would like them to wear so hopefully that's what they get. Haha  I don't  really want to do anything extravagent to i think i'm done!  I hope!

I would also like to get my FI something for the wedding day but i also have no idea what to get him!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
