I have five as of now unless more people book. Of course u can let me know! no rush! For the vases, flowers and runners I would ask $150. There will be at least five of each thing.

If you wanted to add candles, you could get battery-operated LED candles in tealight sizes to put in small vases. They have some that flicker very naturally now.

I love the lemon idea, btw!

Well, unfortunately, I have to take back my offer NOT because I wouldn't do it for you if you wanted in a heart beat, but because I found a way to get all my vases for free which means, the company I'm borrowing them from wants them back
I wish you the best in your centerpiece adventure!
I will be selling lots of things when I get back, so keep an eye out for the thread :)

My mom is the sales and marketing director for a large steakhouse in this area. She has a budget every year for Christmas decorations, so she told me she would just buy the vases I want for the reception for her decorations and then I could just use them for the wedding! So I don't have to pay for them! Nice!
they are 20" tall vases from Michaels, but they are fairly thin glass so they aren't too expensive. We will either ship them down to the resort beforehand or we will pack them in bubble wrap and put them all in a suitcase. There are only 5 of them.
I'm thinking I might be shipping these along with my towels down there because they are the biggest pains to get down there.

that makes sense, do they take delivery well at the MP? i might consider shipping things prior to our wedding!

that's great of your mum! happy days! congrats :)

did you hear back if you can get lemons?

So, I have now been informed they have "green lemons" in Mexico. I said, "You mean LIMES!" Arrrgghhhh. My whole color scheme for the reception is based on yellow, so now I've gotta find fake lemons and take those down with me too. So annoying.
I wouldn't ship anything to Mexico. I've heard horror stories and for as much money as you are spending on stuff, I would feel safer taking it in a suitcase.

so you're going to transport glass in your suitcase? wow!

i am now looking at getting plastic fish bowls, and having them with fake lemon coloured flowers in them, a bit like this:

                      cool!
Ya, I was always planning on bringing them down in my suitcase. I'm just too nervous that they will get confiscated by customs or something will go wrong. So, unless my mom finds a surefire way to ship them, we will be taking them down there in the suitcases! They are a pretty light weight though, so it's not too bad and I only have five.
