Ceterpiece help please!

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies

i'm relatively new, so firstly, Hi!

I'm getting married in July 2010 at The Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico. I'm from England.

I am having problems trying to decide on a centerpiece. the floral centerpieces on offer from the hotel seem very expensive, so i need to think of something else, but i have no idea what! and it has to be something i can either get out there, or i can bring with me!

the hotel have said that candles aren't idea, as it's windy and our reception will be outside.

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!

Woodsylou, I'm getting married at Barcelo which is not far from your resort in Cancun. You could send me a payment via Paypal. Check with your WC if I would be allowed to drop these off at your resort and she could hold them for you until your wedding. (That's only another month an a half). Then the vases and flowers (coming out of the top) would already be down there for you!

This benefits you just as much as me, as I will not have to drag these all BACK home, so I have NO problem taking them to your resort for you!

clearly, you wouldn't need to pay me anything until time got closer, so no worries about that! My email is jacquimonday@yahoo.com if you want to contact me personally. I could also sell you my runners if you'd like! I bought fabric off ebay and am hand making them. They are navy and white damask. I will post a pic when I finish them. That would take care of your centerpieces other than the lemons and votives. My votives have the candle in them, so they won't look nice once I burn them at my reception, so you'd probably have to bring your own. I got them at the dollar store.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
