I will be visiting the RMB in a few weeks (end of August) to celebrate my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend.  We have been talking a lot of marriage and I'm awaiting the ring ladies (he told me I will have it before the end of the year).  With that said, we talked about a destination wedding Aug-Oct 2011.  I have already been inquiring about destination weddings just to have an idea of the costs.  While in Montego Bay for vacation, I will meet with the WC.  I will give a review about the resort when I return with pictures.

My fiance and I are getting married at RMB in June of 2012. What kind of reception did you go with? The semi-private? The private dinner? or the beach reception? I'm nervous that we won't be able to have music and dancing and that would not go over well with my huge family. Thanks!

Can any of the brides that have gotten married here share their experience? It doesn't seem to be much opinions/advice/planning tips etc on this resort. I am considering this resort but love to hear others opinions of their experience.

Try searching for the RIU Montego Bay thread.  You should find lots of information on there!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
