I was wondering if anyone has used Einar Villavicencio to perform their wedding ceremony and handle the legal documents? If so, I'd love to hear about your experience as I am considering using his services.

 

Also, his wife Monica Restrepo does photography and flowers and the prices are VERY reasonable...has anyone used her services before?

 

Any information would be much appreciated!

We have worked alongside Einar for weddings, he does provide a good service. He is the lawyer for all legal ceremonies at Paradisus Playa Conchal. As far a photography, I did not know his wife was in this line of work. Ask for samples of work, complete weddings and make sure they offer consistency (several weddings).

For the sake of several opinions: check on Marcelo Galli (just google him), Ana Castro and Noel Ibo (Costa Rica Wedding Officiate).

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to share my experience with both Einar Villavicencio and Monica Restrepo for our wedding in Costa Rica. If you are anything like I was, it can be very difficult trying to locate accurate information on the internet.

 

First, I have nothing but praise for Einar Villavicencio for his legal services and ceremony. We did the legal ceremony in Costa Rica, and everything went off without a hitch and was just as promised. His assistant was always very prompt to answer my questions via email and was very thorough. The ceremony was very touching. I had absolutely no problems getting my name changed here in the US with the documents he provided. I HIGHLY recommend Einar's services.

 

We also used Monica Restrepo for our photography, and unfortunately I absolutely DO NOT and cannot recommend her photography services for many, many, many reasons. I do not wish to bash someone on a message board, but will be happy to provide details via pm. It still makes my stomach upset to think about what we ended up with. RUN, do not walk, away from Monica Restrepo's photography services if you want photographic memories from one of the most important days of your life.

We paid around $400 for Einar Villavicencio's legal service and ceremony. It was just the two of us, so I don't know if he charges more for larger weddings. We received our official documents less than two months after the ceremony. Just send an email to his office and they should promptly get back to you with a quote. I highly recommend his services.

Monica Restrepo took care of every detail, adjusted and adapted the package to our every need, and your hotel and its staff was so pleasant and professional. We loved the photography and the videography, and are so impressed with their work and artistic talent. The prices are very very reasonable, and the finished product is a dream (you could never get this quality service for the price we paid in the States). Our photographer, Monica Restrepo does fantastic photography and I would recommend her to any one! And her husband, Einar was our officiant and lawyer. He was also very very good and they make a great team!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
