Just had my boudoir shoot on the weekend with Kelly Szott (www.timelesssnapshots.com) and it was awesome!  I thought it would be more nervewracking but it was so much fun!  Kelly was very casual which really helped and it was a marathon shoot but I definitely didn't feel uncomfortable.  My hair and makeup was also included and I LOVED them both so I can't wait to get my pics (she gives you 25-50 pics on a DVD included with the shoot)!!!

Can everyone do me a favour? We've had a last minute change of plans and are planning on LEGALLY getting married here (secretly!) in Calgary before we leave for Cabo. Please, please, PLEASE post who you JoP was, and if you liked them! You are all awesome.

How's next Tuesday (June 7th) for everyone to meet up?

Awesome, thanks. I guess it doesn't really matter, we're just doing a truly legal ceremony (the two legal marriage statements and pronouncement), signing the certificate and that's it. I'm still not happy about not doing it legally in Mexico, but $2000+ to get married legally = ridiculous!!!

We used Jacquie Hoare (she's a family friend) for our JP. She came to our house, performed a quick humorous "ceremony" for us and our best friends as our witnesses and we toasted with champagne afterwards. We all wore jeans and it was completely unromantic. Exactly what we wanted. :)

              Here's her website:

Jbean - my dress was an Ella Bridal...I think they're a sister company of essence of Australia. I loooved my dress it was perfect for the beach!! (and made me feel amazing) Star18 - I really recommend switching resorts for your honeymoon. When everyone left at the end of the week we were surprisingly bummed and had SO many great memories everywhere on the resort. Had we stayed I think we would have been reminiscing a lot. It was nice to get a fresh start at a new resort, treat ourselves and best of all make tons of new memories that are just ours :) I'm totally up for a meet up!! Tues the 7th actually works really well for me too. Is that the plan? Should we do Una Pizza again? It was tasty! Sorry I haven't been on here much, we get our new house on Friday and we've been swamped packing and getting ready!! :)
