Hi ladies!!! Sorry for being MIA, it's been a crazy week back in the 'real world' ;)

 

Well the wedding was amazing!! Our whole trip was amazing! Things went really smoothly with the wedding. We (okay, I) had nothing to worry in terms of decorations or logistics or anything! And everything was gorgeous. I looooved Dreams Palm Beach, all our guests did. And our honeymoon resort, Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana, was breathtaking. To the ladies not yet married - I highly recommend going on a honeymoon right after the wedding. We only had 30 people with us, but it was so busy! We were always with people and trying to fit in time with everyone and the week totally flew by. It was nice to have a week of relaxation with just the two of us afterwards :) I felt a lot more rested and ready to come home.

 

I'm going to try to do a separate post with a couple of photos. Our photog, HDC, was incredible! So easy and fun to work with, and we love our pictures! Our Trash the Dress session was SO much fun, so happy we did it! :)

 

When are we going to meet up?? Does the week of the 30th work for anyone?

Hey,

 

How did you like switching resorts? I am still debating whether to stay at Dreams or move to another resort for the 2nd week.  :)

The pictures are AMAZING!!! You look gorgeous my dear! And the TTD?! Holy sexy, lady!

 

I am definitely in for a meet-up soon! I'm heading to Sasquatch (the music festival) this Thursday through Tuesday May 31st. I'm doing bootcamp on Mondays/Wednesdays, so Thursday June 2nd works for me. I know Eryn (BeachBrideSoon) said she would come to the next meet-up, too, and M/W are no good for her either. If not June 2, the following week (June 7 or 9) works for me.

 

Sunshine, trying on is soooooooo much fun! I'm definitely a curvy bride (boobs & bum!), and there was lots to try on. I purchased from Cameo & Cufflinks (ask for Brandie!), who put me in a shape I had never thought of, and fell in love with! My dress is a fit and flare style (Alvina Vallenta 9913).

Oh nice! I can't wait to go - im so excited! i've been engaged since January and am starting to get anxious. But ya- i also want to be confident when I go - so I'm going to drop some more weight before then. Down 10lbs - need to be down 30 more..fingers crossed. Thankfully I have tonnes of time - wedding isnt for another 18 months.
Cameo and Cufflinks will defo be one of my first stops! i have lots of pictures saved of what i like but who know what i'll actually look good in when I finally go! Gotta keep an open mind i suppose!

Hey ladies, 

 

Just wondering if anyone is game for a meet-up sometime soon? Now that Sandi and Nat's weddings have happened, I know that I would love to hear all about them! I imagine most of the past brides from earlier this year are not coming on here that much anymore, now that their weddings are over! Tuesdays/Thursdays work best for me. Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
