Hi,

 

 We are getting married Feb 2012 at Dreams Puerto Vallarta. We are using Dazzling Details as our wedding coordinator (They are amazing!!!!!) I just love this site, it is so nice to have a place to get info on everything you could think of. I have just started planning and I am having so much fun. I just went wedding dress shopping today for the first time, so much fun. We went to Mena's, I just loved this place, they were so nice and good prices. I was expecting to pay around $1500-2000 and the dress I liked was only $550....SWEET!!! Still not sure if it's "The Dress" but it is definitely one to revisit.

 

Thanks to everyone for all the great info and ideas! :)

Hi Girls

 

I hope everyone had a great weekend :)  I had my bridal shower on Sat, I know it's early but I had a lot of people traveling and didn't want to chance it later in the winter.  Anyways besides all the great gifts that I got I had to tell you guys about what one of my bridesmaids got me.  It's a gift certificate for I'm a Mrs, it's a website that helps you make your name change after you get married www.imamrs.com I've never heard of it but thought it was a fantastic idea.

lol that's hilarious! People will try and make a business out of ANYTHING! I don't know how comfortable I'd be letting anyone but myself handle the paperwork on my own name change...

Pam that sounds fantastic!  When are you planning to do your order through Bongo?  Would love to hear what you think afterwards... its sounding like a good option for our mugs.  $250 in shipping is a little too crazy for my liking

..in other news, for those gals who got the Bikram Yoga special, FI and i started on Monday and we are loving it.  the first two classes were horrific torture, but today was the third and now we are hooked.  the people are all so nice there. :)

Thats exactly what my bridesmaid told me when I asked her if the veil I like was me. She told me wearing a big white dress isn't you either so it didn't really matter.

I say wear the earrings they are beautiful and will be amazing for your TTD pics.

So, so true. If only it were the case! I wish I could have someone do my hair, makeup and follow me around taking gorgeous photos all day!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
