Linds - your dress is beautiful! I've been debating going to Cameo & Cufflinks, but I will definitely add it to my list now! I'm going dress shopping with my mom and one of my bridesmaids next month - can't wait!!

Anyone have any suggestions for stores that sell summer dresses that could be used as bridesmaids dresses? I want something light, summery and colourful...but not having any luck so far!
Thanks Sandy!!!

I really really suggest cameo & Cufflinks. You do need an appointment and you can take pictures there I am also looking for light summery dresses for my BM. I might head to Chinook today to have a look. I'll let you know if I find anything or if anyone else sees some, please share.

Yes Boo- I did buy two wedding dresses! I actually should have went with my first instinct because I found one last year and LOVED it. Didn't love the price and went for a cheaper one in Feb. .... then went BACK and bought the first one anyways! Geez.

Sandy- I got my sister's BM dress from Le Chateau. They actually have really nice stuff for weddings. I think they do alot of that stuff now because I know another girl bought her BM dresses there too.

Thanks!

DH's suit was from the MEXX outlet in Westhills during their end of season sale last August. We got it for $139! DH ended up finding the exact same pants at the MEXX outlet in Deerfoot this April and bought the shirts there too.

Aly - Thanks for the tip on Le Chateau! I will have to take a look at their collection.

I'm actually headed out to Cross Iron Mills on Friday (my dad will be in town and I can't wait to show him Bass Pro Shop!) - I will definitely keep my eyes open for BM dresses while there! Will be nice to shop in some different stores for a change :)

If you're at Cross Iron, make sure to check out RW & Co as well. They've usually got some really nice dresses in there too, and hovering around the $100 price range (some higher some lower). They've also got nice mens suits sometimes too but I'm not sure if that's a seasonal thing or not.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
