Yeah I never thought to call and offer a pick up in person, would love to know how it goes for you, I am going to order regardless, I think it could be a fun touch.

 

Next Thursday I am in New York, Westjet had a seat sale :) you ladies have a blast though, and I will def. try to make sure to join you next time.

Hi ladies!

 

I just found this thread, how exciting! We're planning a Spring 2011 wedding in Punta Cana...we've narrowed down hotels but waiting to hear back from our TA before making the final decision. I would love to get together to chat about weddings and planning and all that fun stuff! :)

 

I live & work downtown so central is great, but I do have a car if there's a trek involved.

 

I'm in for drinks or coffee next week...any preferences/suggestions for locations?

I'm still waiting to hear back from dream maker. But you mentioned that you are going for a starfish theme, thought I would let you know about the shoes I bought for my wedding. I got them at Feet First, they are sandals with a starfish on the strap. So cute.

 

I would love to get together next week. Are we going to meet after work? What time works for everyone?

Hey Sandy and Linds..I am so glad you guys are up for meeting! I was thinking next Thursday, but I am totally open to any night, day. I live in the city too...let me know you thoughts...I am so excited to chat Weddings!!! Sandy I am in the same situation as you...just waiting for prices for PC, I am gearing for the Paradisus Palma Real, but it is really pricey. Hopefully we can help each other and compare prices!

oh Natalie, I picked a paradisus resort too! It is pricey but I figured, you only get married once and I didn't want to take any chances on random other resorts. Although I also think that no matter where you choose will be wonderful. You can't really go wrong in the carribean. Having said all this, my Paradisus resort was bought out May 1, 2010 so I am now a "Now Sapphire Riviera" bride. Boooooo sad.gif oh well!

Next Thursday after work sounds good...as does Melrose! (Nathalie have you been? It's on 17th Ave, so very central)

 

I can meet anytime from 5:30pm onwards...what works for everyone else?

Welcome to Calgary Natalie!! The weather will get better, maybe even this weekend, fingers crossed!

 

Thursday might work for me, I normally have school but its coming close to the end of it and alot of it is review now so I can miss those :) .

 

What a great find! I love the idea of ordering together if they won't allow you to do a local pick up for the bouquet jewel.

On a side note, I decided to start a bit of a starfish theme for our wedding, its a glam affair / starfish / Mexican fiesta - yikes, hope it all somehow comes together.

 

Anyhow after much searching I finally found a site that has the starfish jewel that I want for my bouquet, its CAD 10 flat shipping for their site, the starfish is CAD 14, why dont I live in US? ha ha

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
