Weather...UGHHH It is crap outside! I am soooooooooo cold and wet right now it sucks!!!

A patio would be sooo much better than this!

Have fun Kaylie and Cara....enjoy every minute because it goes by WAY too fast! I want to divorce and do it all over again...can you do thathuh.gif haha

Welcome Lindsey, good luck in picking a resort...I never really thought too much about mine...I always knew Jamaica but then just kind of picked a resort based on price and what my travel agent recommended..your going to be in paradise! It will be amazing no matter where you pick!

What else do you have left to do?
Mine's not THAT bad either. I still need to burn a CD with our ceremony music, I need place cards & table numbers, I have to finish labelling our "wedding week survival kits"...and the list goes on. I'm pretty sure I can get it done this weekend.

Oh yeah, and finish my planning thread! That's my favorite part of BDW!

Aw Mel that is so not cool! I hope your head isn't throbbing to much anymore!

This morning (and last night) I was thanking myself for having trained my dog to understand "go pee" or "go poop" because she HATES any sort of bad weather! I know it's a simple concept and its not like she didn't understand what to do before learning the words... but she honestly used to hold it all in for like two days just to avoid going outside! At least now she seems to know that if we say "go pee" the door will be wide open for her when she bolts in after she's finished! LOL! Yah probably too much info about my dog but I feel so bad forcing her out in this weather when I won't willing go out in it myself either!

Hahaha...Its funny to me now that I can't feel the pain anymore. I must've looked hilarious to my neighbors.

Yeah, thats good that your dog hates weather like this too & bolts right back in. Smart puppy :) It would suck to have one of those dogs that loved the snow & rolled around in it...then you'd have to go chasing it around your backyard. Doesn't sound like a very good time to me:S

I know there's some other Coventry Hills girls on here. Anyone else without power this morning?? I slept in 2 hours longer than usual since my alarm was out, had a shower in the dark, then FI spent 1/2 an hour trying to figure out how to manually open the garage door so he could drive me to work (and save me from the 301 - I'd probably STILL be on the bus!)

I leave in 10 days! WHOOP WHOOP!

That's me from up in Coventry!! And we still had our power this morning when I got up for work and we left the house about 6am with everything good still. LOL, we also drove in this morning to avoid the 301 bus, not so much for the drive in but in case there were problems getting home again! And go figure that the girl in the car IMMEDIATELY in front of me using the on-ramp from Country Hills Blvd on to Deerfoot completely spun out and wound up facing the wrong direction by the time she stopped! I'm not too sure what caught her tires because I had no problems slowing down easily enough to avoid her completely. Poor girl must've been freaking out though but thankful that she stopped her car before actually making it ON to Deerfoot.

The scary part is that my office building has had blinking power almost all morning - and it's 37 stories high so that's saying something! Yesterday our office let us go home early if we needed to but I doubt that will be the case today.

That's what I wanted to do pamphilia...although it would have to be ice tea for me without any power (which I hear is STILL not on 8 hours later!)! I'm still trying to get over a nasty cold so I would have loved to stay home and read my book all day. The only reason I even went to work was because I had a lunch date with my bridesmaid and her mom who missed my shower and wanted to see me before we leave!

Oh yeah, guess what...I'm getting legally married tomorrow!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
