I find that I'm in Michaels for lots of bits and pieces of things, more so than any major purchases. If you're not in a huge hurry, the coupons you get on your receipt for the following week can keep you happy with regular trips and less spent than a major shop once in a while.

I think it's funny that you stashed your stuff though! Was it the luggage tags that are black leather with the coloured letter in the middle? I bought those for my girls a couple weeks ago! I'd thought about it for the guys but figured they wouldn't really care about them.

Oh and Christina I just noticed you're getting married at the Grand Palladium! I was just there in April for my good friends wedding...which is actually when we got engaged! we took off to Cozumel our last day there and he proposed in the surf!

So if you have any questions about the resort or anything let me know, i might be of some assistance, but i'm sure you get TONS of info on here anyway :)

Thanks Kerri.

We were there about 8 years ago, and always said that if we ever did a DW, it would be at that resort. I will definitely keep you in mind if I have any questions.

Your Mexican proposal sounds waaay more romantic than mine! We were in Cancun and I had a towel on my head in my undies when my FI proposed. "Getting engaged in the surf" is maybe what I will start to tell people...at least our children! lol!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
