So because of all this craziness, I've had to cancel the order on my beautiful dress. I need to try to make up all this money I've lost out on sad.gif I've opted to just find a white sundress instead. Thought even about looking for bridesmaid dresses in white! Any suggestions of where to go in Calgary. "Project: cheap dress" is starting today!
Hey...If you are still looking for a cheap dress check out Deerfoot Inn & Casino this Saturday. They are apparently having some sort of wedding dress sale where dresses start at $100. Its free to get in...Heres the link. Hope this helps!!!

You have to subscribe but it's free and you'll probably get a ton of emails from them INSTANTLY. A friend of mine did the same thing then they wanted to charge her for the labels so she ordered what she wanted (free) from my account and got it shipped to her house. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! If you see something you like, you are more than welcome to order from my account. My friend wanted to order asap otherwise she would have waited for her own account to get activated.

Mel thanks for that but I just bought my dress yesterday. YES I know, yesterday was a serious wedding day for me! On that note though, (I know I've mentioned before but...) there is also a sale on at Cameo & Cufflinks in Dalhousie NW Everything in the entire store is on sale including bridesmaid dresses! It's really fantastic. On until Sunday. Thats where I got mine!

Holy Crap!

I hate having to work while I am at work! I feel so far behind in the chit-chat sad.gif

MayanLily- I am crossing my fingers for you and your deposits!

There was also someone mentioning their flights through Transat getting changed 3 times (dont remember who...sorry)- Our flights with Transat changed so badly (by two days!) that we had to change tour operators. Good thing we did get all of our deposits back b/c they screwed us so bad. We literally had to re-book our entire wedding last week. Aaaand I think I already mentioned that. Sorry for the repeat info!

Thanks to all for the other info. about the mens rings. Going to order from Tungsten world if we don't find his ring this weekend. Then I can justify getting mine too :) We already found it, and I am so excited. It's at J.Vair, and whenever you go in, they shine your rings for you, so the engagement ring looks all new and shiny. They also buffed the platinum on my ring, while most places send them away just to do that.

I wish I knew about the stamps online before! All they had when we were sending out stuff was Christmas ones and plain boring stamps. Oh well. Suzy- get on that lobbying!

Hope all is well with everyone.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
