new: my dress and a lot of other stuff!

old: not sure, FI just bought me a tanzanite & diamond pendant for my b-day, that will be old by october, lol

borrowed: my sister gave me a necklace & earrings set she had bought to wear for her wedding, but her husband had bought her jewelery so she didn't where it, so I might wear that, if I don't wear my new necklace

blue: I'll probably get a garter, just for fun!

I got a garter yesterday with blue ribbons on it. Its really cute. Actually it was a set of two, one to throw and the other was nicer to keep.

something borrowed, is my Grandmothers (plural) jewelry, my mom's mom is letting me use a pearl necklace that is about 50 years old (so its also something old) and my dad's mom is letting me wear this amazing ring for my right hand that is almost 100 years old. I wanted it for my engagement ring, but it wasn't meant to be.

something new, dress, shoes, pearl earrings from FI, wedding ring, the list goes on and on right!

Something New: Of course my dress

Something Old: My mother-in-laws little bible that she carried on her wedding day that was given to her by her mother.

Something Blue: My mother's garder that she wore at her wedding

Something Borrow: My grandmother's ring that my grandfather gave her.

I had everything sewn into the back of my garter...

Something old/borrowed = My mom's thruppenny bit that she got on her wedding day which is only borrowed because when my sister gets married it's being passed on to her..

Something new = my garter

Something blue = thread that stitched the thruppenny bit into the back of the garter

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
