Old: A handkerchief belonging to my grandmother

Borrowed: An angel pin which I attached to my bouquet. It also belonged to my grandmother, she loves anything angel and that was what she called me " her little angel" when I was younger, OK still does sometimes :)....

New: Dress, veil

Blue: Rhinestoned " I DO" stickers for the soles of the shoes!

i have seen some brides who are wearing high heels order an i do rhinestone sticker from ebay in which they put under the arch of their heels...I thought this was a cool idea.

For something borrowed I am using my friends veil who just got married and I was her MOH and she is unable to attend....so in away she will be there with me that day.

Old: hopefully a broach borrowed from my grandmother to stick in my bouquet.

New: Dress

Borrowed: earrings from one of my MOH (I have 2) and an embroidered handkerchief for Greek dancing at our reception

Blue: My grandmother embroidered my married name in blue thread on a white piece of cotton and this is going to be pinned on the inside of my dress. With my bouquet, I am also carrying horseshoes on blue ribbons as a gift from my British family who can't make it to the wedding.

Instead of 'a penny in your shoe' my dressmaker used a penny as weight for the cowl neck of my dress!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
