Worried about weather in February :/

Recommended Posts

Yes, I did. They were recommended by other brides on this forum. I just emailed them and asked if I could just purchase 6 and got an email back from "Joseph". He said even though their minimum is 12, he would gladly help out any of the brides on this forum. They came very nicely wrapped. They look nice, but are quite thin, but what do you expect for just $3.95.

Yes, she bought them from that site, which is my site, lol.

Just an fyi, our scarves are not any thinner than other pashminas, to the contrary we actually use a heavier weight fabric than virtually any of the pashmina manufacturers at any price. The fact is, genuine pashmina scarves (and our synthetic version ) are made from fine fabrics are not meant to be thick and heavy like traditional wool/cashmere scarves. I just wanted to point out that our scarves are in no way any thinner than any other pashminas out there, and that if ours is too thin for your needs, than a pashmina scarf is not going to be a good fit for your needs.

oh no...i did not want you to get stressed but just plan accordingly. bring a cardigan and some pants just in case.

it is also a personal thing...i like mild climates and am a wimp (why i live in california) so i get too cold and too hot easily.

I was just joking. Thank you for the heads up!! I will plan accordingly. I can't function in extreme heat, so I am just hoping that it is comfortable. I will be on cloud nine anyway so as long as it doesn't rain on my parade..I am a happy camper!

Talk to your wedding coordinator about renting heat lamps as back up (or bonfire if on the beach?) if you're really worried about guests being cold. Or.... if you don't mind, you can decide to move the wedding indoors (at most places I've contacted, they can decide that morning whether to move the party indoors). Personally, I'm considering having the cocktail hour outdoors and reception indoors b/c of the wind!

If you plan to get out there early, you'll know after a day whether the evening weather is tolerable for you so don't fret - just go prepared! Regardless of how cool, it's going to be a fun time!

I got married in March 13 at 4:30 pm we started and finished at 2 am. It was pretty nice until the sunset, but it can get chilly after that. Good thing I had a bonfire and my dad rented last minute heathers, which was the only reason the party kept going till 2 am. I recommend renting some heathers, if I remember correctly I had 8 for 12 tables.

Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
