Paradisus Punta Cana Photgraphy (Arrecifes?)

Recommended Posts

I am looking into my photography for my wedding in PPC this coming January and I am having a hard time. Has anyone used the resorts photographer for their wedding? They are called Arrecifes Studio. Picture quality?

I am trying to stay within budget but dont want to waste money on pictures that are just ok.

Any suggestions or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies

Hi Semi, have you looked at the Punta Cana thread to see if there are any reviews on that photographer? I know we have many photographers on the forum, some might be within your budget, so at the very least you might want to check them out as well.

Good luck :-)

You should check around the site. I am not sure what your budget is but getting a photographer outside of the resort will probably be less expensive and better quality photos. We are using Nora Bohanon which advertises on this site. She does great work and although she is not in DR she is VERY affordable! Its all about what is most important to you as far as pics go.

Hey Semiya, my fiance and I are looking at getting married at the paradisus punta cana in October 2010. I would be interested to know what photographer you choose and if you were happy with them. It would give me a good idea of who we should use for our wedding. Thanks

I worked with Arrecife Studio at the Paradisus Punta Cana resort back in October, 2010.  They were fantastic!!!  I was so nervous about the quality of the photos.  I really wanted a photojournalistic style and I was so happy with their work!  The photographer was so professional, he was well-dressed, and seemed to genuinely enjoy shooting the wedding.  (You know those photographers who only do weddings because they have to make money?  Not him.)  The girl in the office was really sweet too.  We all met two days before the wedding right there in the hotel.  The pictures were ready the day after the wedding.  I was really impressed.  I worried for nothing!  =)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
