Anyone interested in a "group purchase" for travel mugs?

I have found some colored acrylic (stainless inside) travel mugs that I like, however, I only need 15 and cannot justify paying for the 48 minimum. I had already decided not to put our logo with our names on them - as I would like them to be used when our guests return home, but I thought a generic imprint would be nice. Maybe a palm tree with Los Cabos, Mexico underneath or Cabo San Lucas. Check out the attachment.

LogoToGo: Bob Simon, Graphics Designer is where I found the mugs for $6.65 each plus $50 imprint charge, tax and shipping. Logo to Go offers 3 free samples, which they have already sent me and they are nice. The reason I like these is because they come in quite a few different colors that are bright and pretty. Check them out. Colored Acrylic Tumblers 16 oz from LogoToYou.com. These quality mugs can't be beat. Print your logo with more than one color imprint if you like.. I have emailed them asking if they had to be all one color or if we could get a variety of colors but haven't heard back just yet. If anyone is interested, please let me know. My wedding date is December 19, 2009, so if I'm going to do this, I need to get going. I've seen where other brides from this site have done group orders before, not sure exactly how it worked as far as payment and shipping is concerned. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Thanks, Autumn. I think I can get the amount I need, I was just hoping to get someone that wanted to go in with me, so that I could get a generic imprint. However, I'm seriously thinking about just ordering bland ones and printing my own on clear sticker paper. Not sure how much a circle cutter is though. Just don't want to spend more on supplies that the imprint charge would be.

BTW - your pashmina guy has been great to work with. He let me order only six and then, I needed just one more and he said sure. (p.s. how's married life?)

They do seem a little expensive...

Patti if you like those colors Discountmugs.com does have a TON of selection you just have to go through the different styles to see what colors are offered, here is the one I was thinking about: they have it in purple and pink, but I was thinking about the blue if I do order anything....

Custom Travel Mug, Custom Travel Mugs, Travel Mugs

These start at $3.39 printed for 25 or more and they get cheaper the more you order but I think they have to be all the same color!

Like I said there is tons of selection and free shipping right now so it'll save you big bucks if you find a style/color you like!

Dolphinluck, printing ourselves is probably the more practical thing to do. I had seen those labels, as well, but I would print clear labels if I can find some. Just haven't searched yet.

SuzyQ, the travel mugs you're thinking about are pretty colors and the $3.95 price is certainly reasonable enough. It's just that $50 imprint charge that gets me. Wouldn't be bad if I was ordering a lot, but just not practical ordering 12. - LOL - I think this is the first time that I've ever thought about being being practical.

Sorry I didn't even think you only need 15, I'm almost finished my design for my paper insert mugs so I'll attach that when I'm finished it, just need about another hour or so!! lol
And I keep forgetting about that damn set up fee, if you do get a big group order at least you can spread the cost around.

and/or you can get clear labels you can get at Walmart or Staples (Canada) or any office supply store and even online if you want to do that!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
