We are in the process of organizing a Canopy Tour for our wedding guests. The problem is, there are sooo many canopy tour companies in PV. Does anyone have any recommendations??

Thanks! Jackie

I would recommend finding out how many platforms they offer. When I went zip lining there were two companies for the same price. Turns out one was 7 platforms and the other was around 20!!! BIG difference!

Just something to think about!

Each time I've been to PV I take tours with Vallarta Adventures. Yes they did my wedding too, but that's why I was so comfortable with them.

The crew is outstanding and well trained to handle any emergency that may occur. I've had them physically wash vomit off of me when I could barely hold my head up. On the boat to our wedding 2 adults were seasick and one of the crew held both of the kids - one on each leg - the whole boat ride. They're just really nice.

But it sounds like that platform thing makes a difference so check into that too.

I had two groups do the canopy tour with Vallarta Adventures. They made an extra time for one of our groups since we had too many people for one group. They were great to work with and had a great crew. I don't know how the other companies are but our groups thoroughly enjoyed Vallarta Adventures Canopy tour.

I highly recommend the Los Veranos Canopy tour. The tour itself is located in the small village of Los Veranos which is about 40 minutes by bus south of Vallarta. The ride itself down the coast is spectacular. I think Los Veranos has the most lines and possibly the longest and tallest. The guides are fun and professional. They also have a nice place by the river to enjoy lunch/drinks and you can hold a snake or tarantula if you're in the mood for that.

I live in Vallarta and I consistently hear good things about this tour. I did it with my cousins and a friend in March and it was great!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
