While I didn't use any outside planners for my wedding (why take away all the fun?), I do know that Ari is active on the negril.com forum - I've read several posts by her and she seems to know her stuff.

Ari planned our wedding in Negril earlier this month and she was FANTASTIC.

 

She is incredibly responsive, has answers to all of your questions, and will go out of her way to help you have the wedding YOU want. She helps you see the details (and prices!) behind the scenes if you're interested -- but I also trusted her judgment and deferred to her on a number of decisions. Come wedding day, she brought all of the details together, made things happen smoothly, and took care of EVERYTHING so we could focus on getting ready and getting married!

 

She is very organized, answered our questions completely (and promptly!), and was an absolute professional. If you're planning your wedding from afar, I highly recommend working with her.

Hi Tinky,

 

I know we have PM each other over the last few months a couple of times, we are using Ari for some of our wedding items next week, flowers, bouqettes, cake, hair and make up etc etc and she really has been great, she is super responsive, very reasurring and much better than the onsite WC at RPTB, in our opinion anyway, but to give teh WC at RIU her dues she is being really great at the moment and we are meeting her on Monday.

 

Ari though seems great, we are also using Sun Gold for the photos, which we hope are going to be awesome.

 

Might even see you at RPTB on Wednesday we are the only wedding that day 4pm. In the thunder and rain.....please pray for the weather forecast to change.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
