It was a little overwhelming at first since there are so many options, but they take care of all of the difficult stuff. I feel relieved with setting up the initial deposits and room blocks for our guests, but now we have to wait for everyone to make their deposits to fully book the room. Did anyone have issues with making sure all of their guests were booked on time? I feel like we can't finish the rest of the planning until the final bookings are done. So far we really like Key West as a wedding location over Cozumel, but still in the beginning stages of that planning.

If you are still deciding on the port, here are my 2 cents.
For you it is probably easier to get married in Key West if you do the legal part there. Mexico requires blood tests and such, so in a one day port only it is almost impossible to do it all and have it be legal!
good luck in all the planning.

I got engaged on Carnival Destiny on Nov. 28th so I got sooooooooo excited when I found this thread! My fiance mentioned maybe having our wedding on the Destiny but we're not sure exactly how that works. So for now (unless we change our minds) it maybe in DR. Does anyone know how a cruise wedding work? All you thoughts & comments are greatly appreciated.
