No idea, sorry. I guess ordering online at this point is out of the question or cost prohibitive?

That's where I noticed it first last time, so now I'm worrying that I'm gonna gain weight again and that my dress won't fit! I *am* much more happy this year with my FI than before I met him, and he looooves to eat, so that could explain this new weight gain... as long as I don't gain more than 5 pounds I should be ok...

And you're so nice, saying you'll come back to cheer me up. cheesy.gif
I guess the grass is always greener on the other side: you wish you had more time to prepare, I think I have wayyy too much time. LOL
Well, a few months to the wedding you'll probably lose some pounds because of the stress, no so worry! And with your dress, if you get the weight in the thighs, it shouldn't be a problem.

I wanted to go shopping in Chinatown for some parasols, guess that is out of the question. :-(

Tonight I'm the one needing French help. When we return, I want to send out a nice picture of us, with a very simple announcement wording, just so everyone knows "the news". Now I'd love to do "Julie & François, Just Married, April 7th 2010, Negril, Jamaica", but there is no French equivalent that I know of (and all our family & friends are francophones). I'm thinking maybe:

- J&F, Mariés le 7 avril 2010, Négril, Jamaïque

- J&F, Unis le 7 avril 2010 sur la plage en Jamaïque (now the picture will show us on the beach, maybe too much?)

Any other idea along those lines? Would you prefer "Mariés ou Unis"? Or maybe just our names & date: "J&F, 7 avril 2010, Jamaïque"? My boyfriend is of no help at all, this announcement is strictly my idea, and "Anything sounds good my love"...

Carribean Lover, would love to hear about your bachelorette party. :-) How was it? What did you do? Where did you go?

Ewok, I prefer Mariés to Unis. How about:

- Nouveaux Mariés, le 7 avril 2010, Négril, Jamaïque

- Nouvellement Mariés, le 7 avril 2010, Négril, Jamaïque

Yeah, Saying "sur la plage" might be too much if you have a picture of the beach.

As for my news, our invitations are almost done! The letter part (which looks more like a brochure now) is done and we are just waiting on the Boarding Pass (sort of a STD). So excited! And kind of impatient... His cousin must hate me by now! (J/K) LOL

Hum, I really like the sound of "Nouvellement Mariés". It's a tad long, but still manageable. Or I might only put our names and dates... This stuff is so hard!

And why would your FH cousin hate you? Is he a big part of the planning process?

SHE is doing our invitations for free on her own time. I know I've been a tad pushy about getting them ASAP. I didn't really mean hate me, I was just kidding/exagerating. Though she probably is slightly annoyed by now. wink.gif LOL It's all good though, she has done an amazing job so far and we will for sure give her a gift to show our appreciation. :-)

SHE!!! Darn that English language and its lack of subtlety on gender!! (And my own obtuseness...) I was wondering how much a (HE) cousin could take part in a wedding planning, considering my own DBF is not doing anything for his own... That's cool of her to make your invites, I guess that's the price you're paying, the horrible wait!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
