How did you lose weight before your wedding?

Break that down week by week and you'd have to burn 17,500 calories per week for the next 3 weeks. Not sure what your schedule looks like...if you can work out every day for the next 21 days...if you could, you would need to burn 2,500 calories each day. I hope you understand where I'm going with this. I'm not trying to bring you down but trying to help you realize how unreasonable your goal is. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 per week...so in 3 weeks you should have a goal to lose between 3 and 6 lbs.

Not sure what your build or weight is currently but there are many sites out there that offer "calorie counters" where you type in your weight & the amount of time (in minutes) you are going to do, or have done, a particular exercise/workout for and it calculates several different activities you could do for that amount of time, telling you how many calories you will likely burn.

For example, I am 120lbs & for the time I entered 30 min. since that's really all the time I've got to spare. If I would want to burn 2,500 calories in one day (like you would need to if you want to lose 15 lbs within 3 weeks) I would have to...use the stationary rowing machine at a moderate rate for 30 min, do water aerobics for 30 min, ride a stationary bike vigorously for 30 min, use the stair step machine for 30 min, lift free weights vigorously for 30 min, do step areobics at a high impact level for 30 min, run for 1 hour @ 10mph (that's running 6 min miles for an hour straight), rollerblade for 30 min, and perform general housecleaning duties for 30 min.

That is 5 hours devoted to non-stop vigorous exercising. Maybe if you don't have a job & kids that could be possible but other than that I think your weightloss goal is impossible. Sorry, I know this wasn't the kind of response you were looking for but I am just trying to give you my honest advice. Good luck with everything!

I've found that brushing my teeth helps with so much! I brush after each meal. That stops the cravings for dessert, etc. bc I HATE the taste of stuff on toothpaste.

Yes its hard but trust me it only takes two weeks of you doing something regularly before it becomes second nature. I work out 6 days a week and I love love love Pilates. Ladies Pilates will firm you up so fast and you not even realize it. It works all of your muscles even ones you don't know you have. If you vcan do reformer classes. Also invest in a 9in plate. I swear it helps with the portion control. By the way I'm at 123lbs yaay me!!!

And just in case you're wondering yes I still drink wine and have dessert... Just in moderation. You will see after a while your body won't crave it as much.

One more trick that I found that works, Brush your teeth at night before you watch TV, for some reason it takes away that craving that you get!

Drinking water is key!  I exercise 6 days a week (with various intesities each day) and walk every day.  For the most part, I try to eat very clean but also don't forget to treat yourself once in while in moderation.  If you cut out all "bad" foods completely, you're more likely to binge on them.  I also tend to eat 5-6 times per day - 3 smaller meals with snacks in between.  If I'm craving sweets I will usually drink tea.  My goal is to be more healthy + tone up!

Wow, you should increase your protein intake, drink lots of water, stop eating bread and choose oatmeal or sweet potato instead; also do weightlifting + aerobic exercise everyday

    • Hi Brides! I have a Wally Bag - 66" available - $90 + shipping (US only) The wally bag typically sells for $120-$180. I used this gown bag once to transport my dress from MN to Mexico for our wedding - IT WAS PERFECT!   I was actually able to pack 4 additional maxi dresses, and my husband's wedding attire, plus a few pairs of shoes and some jewelry. I packed the dress the night before we left, and just moments before we left, I zipped the bag and folded it - ready for travel. It comes up with a nice over-the-shoulder strap, making it really easy to carry through the airports. No issues on Delta with the bag as my carry-on - I chose to put in the overhead bin, but the flight attendant did offer to hang it in the closet for me. Once we got to the resort, about 10 hours after I first folded the bag, I unpacked the bag and my dress was perfect - no wrinkles! My dress was mostly lace and had a bit of a train, but it arrived perfectly!  Honestly, this is the best way to travel with your dress!
    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)
